Daily Inspiration: quote from Wellness Workbook by John Travis and Regina Ryan

In Thornton’s Wilder’s famous play, Our Town, Emily speaks from the grave and comments upon how much she took for granted. How grateful she would be for one more opportunity to do any of the simple things she had done so routinely when she lived. If you can imagine looking at the world from a similar perspective you get an idea of what a transformed vision means in this regard. Gratitude for everything. Enjoying the privilege of doing what you now believe is required. Seeing everything new, fresh – the way a child looks at the world. Fantasize how you might approach your day and its tasks if this was to be your very last day. Try putting these new “glasses” on for just a few minutes and looking around you. What changes? Why not try wearing them for a few hours and noticing what happens. This really is the first day of your life, and your last as well. The only time you can be certain of is right NOW.

With Love, Mary

I drew this graphic originally for a Valentine card. It best describes the heart of the matter! We are sometimes called the "Rainbow Warriors" and the "Tribe of Many Colors", yet we are all together in this circle of life, where love is really what makes the world go round. Since ideas are strengthened by sharing, this is the message we want to pass around.
